Denver Airport

 There are a bunch of weird stories/conspiracies about the Denver airport. There's a huge blue horse statue with eyes that glow red. There are odd sculptures on the walls in the tunnels of the tram that you can only see looking backwards behind you. And the murals... Here are some closeups of the above mural...

This one is a little stranger.

There are more murals but I think they are covered up sometimes.

The baggage claim area has two gargoyles, supposedly to protect the luggage for everyone. 

 Kinda creepy.

 Especially with that tongue!

  The other one was so wicked looking that I didn't even want to take a photo of it...

But this is much prettier. The Denver Peace lily is HUGE. And this isn't trick photography...

On the left side you can see another statue of a big man.  This is Elrey Jeppesen, a famous aviator who created the Jeppesen charts that pilots use to navigate. The terminal here at the Denver airport is named for him.

I believe one of the Wright brothers signed his pilot's license.
